Adjustments

Well, we're at a week now. And boy how life has changed. Little Grant is just as darling as he can be. He sleeps away the majority of the day waking only to eat really. What a life. Aid was like that too but I didn't have a 2 year old to entertain so I was on the same schedule!

Aid is now the 2 year old. And he loves his baby brother. Although the newness has worn off a bit and he is definitely needing some stimulation. We have essentially been in the house for almost 2 weeks with really very few entertainments. Let's just say we have spent A LOT of time together. A LOT. Aid is literally climbing off the walls and obsessing about whether his socks are falling off (??), I am feeling a bit like a milk machine, and Bob is realizing that perhaps stay at home parent is not in the cards for him.

All in all we are doing great. We are so very tired, but so very happy. I cannot wait for my dad to get here so he can just hold this little cuddle bug. (Bring some movies Dad he can snuggle for hours.)

Next week we are getting back into our routine. We have a play date/birthday party on Monday with our friends, we are hanging with our cousins on Wednesday, the Children's Museum at some point during the week, and then heading to the Minnesota Zoo this weekend. We will get some good practice with having 2 children at all of our things.

Should be an adventure!
